Turkey One, Turkey Two

This year I recognize that our family has been greatly blessed. In particular, I am incredibly thankful for my health and my ability to exercise. (Eliza is happy to have a new jogging stroller to ride in too.) It was the 9th Annual Turkey Trot at the Davis household and Eliza's second time participating! I forgot my camera, so here is a not so great picture from my phone. Eliza and I ran the 5 mile loop. We were the first to start and the last to finish out of the 5 mile group...well, there were some who got picked up by the truck that didn't finish...but they worked hard too. I am happy to report that even though we might be a slow jogging pair we ran the whole way. A big thanks to Auntie Em who was there to push her up some hills, thanks! No walking for us! Next year is going to be a BIG deal since its our 10th year. Everyone put it it on your calendar and join us for the Turkey Trot next year!
