The Editors Pick of the Week

During this intermediate time between school and getting a new job I have found myself having alot more free time. As first I was just trying to catch up on cleaning and washing clothes, but now that my house is in order I've started doing "domestic" things. I wanted to share with you my favorite picks.

First. Do plant the day lilies that your Mom so graciously gave to you. Day lilies have turned out to be hardy plants and I nor my bug friends that live in our yard can seem to kill them. Do plant them in a planter box with good soil if you have nasty clay soil like us. The blossoms only last a day, but they are beautiful and they will turn out like this:

Second. Do find a house dog that is trained. It will save you the hassle of training them not to poop on the floor. Making this easy decision will save you from cleaning up "estinky" messes at the end of the day.

Third. Do try your hand at cooking something new. Apple pie is delicious.

I have just one don't to share. Don't buy cute little red flowers and put them in the nasty red clay. It isn't a very healthy environment and if they aren't healthy they won't survive the little bugs that come and eat ALL the pretty red petals. If you make this mistake you little plant will look like this:

Lastly, I wanted to include some other favorite plants that I haven't been able to kill yet.
