Later in his life he took the time to bless the little ones, whom he loved so much. I love this account written in the Bible.
Mark 10: 13-16
13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little achild, he shall not enter therein.

Gratefully, since Jesus Christ isn't physically in our midst he gives worthy men power to bless his children on his behalf through the priesthood. Dylan did just that for our little Ezra, on Friday, December 23, 2011 just as he did for our Eliza over two years ago. Since the holiday season was a hustle and bustle with family members spread out we got permission to have the blessing at my parents' home in Cochran.
There was such as sweet peace that filled the room as the family joined in singing Christmas hymns, prayer and witnessing the blessing of Ezra. I am so thankful for loving family who came to support us and celebrate our new son. Ezra is another miracle baby in our family and we are so happy to have him in our home!
